Discovering the Livingston Family
John Livingston was born 1795 in Monmouth County, New Jersey. On February 4, 1830 in Monmouth County, New Jersey, John Livingston married Elizabeth Kyle (Ryle). They had two sons, and George Livingston (b 1820), John Lewis Livingston (b. 1834).
On January 4, 1881, in Long Branch, New Jersey, John Livingston died at the age of 105. His obituary was posted in the Boston Massachusetts newspaper.
White Ridge Cemetery History
Eatontown, New Jersey
On September 1, 1886, James Reynolds and his wife, Phebe Reynolds and the White Ridge Association paid $400 for the land.
" Land begin a part of anciently the Wolcott Tract the following going a tract or parcel of land and premise, hereinafter particularly described situated, lying in the Township of Eatontown, in the County of Monmouth and State of New Jersey About one mile southward of the Village of Eatontown on the westerly side of the Pine Road near a former colored settlement known as ANTHONY Town."
A few days later, on September 20, 1886, seventeen members of the White Ridge Cemetery Association, who were Walter Richardson; chairmen, Charles H. Frances; Secretary, Charles Richardson, Silas D. Tayor, Charles Crummel, John S. Livingston, Thomas Riley, Edward T. Taylor, Jeremiah Thompson, Charles H. Livington, Jeremiah Washington, William E. Holmes, Elias Livingston, George Livingston, John McGuire, Samuel Henderickson, and Gilbert Polhemus Sr.

Anthony Sylvester married Elizabeth Williams on May 30, 1812, in Monmouth County, New Jersey. George Livingston married Sarah Jane Sylvester.
